At Kurigram Child Welfare Organisation (KCWO), we respond quickly and compassionately to support affected families during and after floods.
We provide:
Dry food packages (rice, lentils, flattened rice, molasses, biscuits)
Ready-to-eat meals
Baby food (when needed)
This ensures families can survive during the most critical days.
Floodwater often contaminates drinking sources. We distribute:
Safe drinking water
Water purification tablets
Hygiene kits (soap, sanitary items, basic essentials)
Clean water prevents disease and protects children’s health.
Many families lose everything during floods. We provide:
Clothing for men, women, and children
Blankets and basic household essentials
Emergency shelter materials (where possible)
After the water recedes, families still face hardship. We assist with:
Basic home repair support
School material replacement for affected children
Livelihood recovery assistance (when possible)
